When the concept of the Cardamom Pod was first imagined, it was with the intention to create beautiful, tasty and healthy soul food, that can be enjoyed by everyone, not only those who subscribe to the ‘Vegan’ or ‘Vegetarian’ food genre. The food needed to be nourishing, alive with flavour and created with heart.

From the comfortable lounge chairs by the indoor hanging gardens, or the rustic farmhouse dining tables out to the breezy cabanas overlooking the park, you are bound to find a cozy nook to nosh. The Cardamom Pod was designed to be an oasis away from the world that allowed diners to relax, recharge and connect while enjoying a delicious meal.

Prepared in the Krsna devotional style, our food undergoes a process of traditional blessings before it is served. This harmonised and spiritually-energised food is perfect to nourish your heart, mind and stomach using the power of plants.
Clean eating movement – plant powered
The “clean eating” movement is gaining momentum, with people taking more notice of what they are putting in their bodies every time they sit down to eat. Gaining understanding of the long term effects of everyday diet choices is becoming a priority for people, with all walks of life pushing back against the unnatural enhancement of our food. Awareness of dietary sensitivities and the health risks of artificial preservatives, colourings, flavours and sweeteners, the omission of genetically modified strains of food, man-made pesticides and fertilisers in food production are all heavily in focus of the collective conscious. The idea of replacing overly-processed, refined and toxic foods with fresh, flavorsome and cruelty-free foods is central to the core of our menu offerings at the Cardamom Pod.
